Free to Fly is a short docu-drama blending true testimony with dramatized scenes brought to life by children from a safe home in Nepal. It’s a heartfelt story about protecting childhood from the dangers of sex trafficking and exploitation.
In rural Nepal, Rachel’s childhood is anything but safe—she escapes her father’s violence, avoids being sold to traffickers, and is ultimately given away by her mother. Her fate changes completely when she’s taken in by a safe home, where she finds care, belonging, and the chance for her dreams to take flight.
With their support, Rachel earns a scholarship, studies architecture, and begins building a future she never imagined. Her journey comes full circle when she learns that sharing her story inspired others to help build a new anti-trafficking centre to help protect more children just like her.
