What is Bus Ministry?

Kids Klub.

Every child deserves to know Jesus loves them.

We meet every Saturday from 11 am - 12 pm in CLA Centre's East Hall! We bus in approximately 120-150 underprivileged kids from the neediest parts of Langley. Kids Klub is an action packed program specifically designed for all kids. This TV-Game show style format is filled with exciting music, games and contests followed by a time of teaching using skits and object lessons.Every child receives a weekly personal home visit by our approved Kids Klub workers.

Sidewalk Kids Club.

Giving inner city kids a chance.

During the Summer of every year, Bus Ministry sends out a specially trained team of staff and youth volunteers into the city streets. They bring with them everything they need to hold Sidewalk Kids Klub in some of the biggest and neediest apartment complexes in the city. This program is almost the same as our in-house program and includes exciting games, music, contests, and a time of teaching and building into the lives of these underprivileged kids and families. Everyone has a great time right in their own back yard.

Visitation

Visitation is a HUGE need. Every week we provide personal door to door visitation to each family's home whose kids attend our program. We bring them a flyer letting them know what our event is that week as well as connect with the parents and build relationships with them. Our desire is to build relationships with these parents and then invite them out to other CLA events designed for them within our amazing church. Our volunteer team meets Fridays at 3:30 PM at CLA where we hop on our mini bus and go out to the various complexes to visit.

Sidewalk Kids Klub

Sidewalk Kid's Klub happens throughout the summer. We are looking for volunteers to even make a week commitment to this initiative. Please contact Ashley for more info.

In The Kitchen

We are always looking for volunteers to help us provide meals for our volunteers who put in countless hours of time throughout the day on Sunday and throughout the weeks during the summer!

Bus Riders

There are a few roles we are always looking for help on the Bus. You can be a Bus Captain to direct the route. Or maybe you just want to hang out and talk to kids and parents riding the bus. This takes place Sunday Afternoons beginning at 3:30 PM.
